About Us
The Reformed Faith
We are Reformed. We faithfully hold to the understanding of the Bible as confessed by the churches of the sixteenth century Protestant Reformation, who rejected false teachings and returned to the truth of the Bible. We summarize and confess these Scriptural truths in our Confessions: the Belgic Confession, Heidelberg Catechism, and Canons of Dort.
Pastor & Leadership
Being a young church plant/outreach we do not have a full time pastor at this time, but the Pastors of the Heritage Reformed Denomination along with students from Puritan Theological Seminary are very gracious with pulpit supply. On Sundays when no pulpit supply is available we listen to a recorded message by various reformed Pastors.
A Bit about the Members
We have about 6 families who regularly attend Sunday services. This includes about 30% children, 30% teens and young people and 40% adults. Most in the Church are self-employed and are home schooling their children at this time. We reside in Boone county the Harrison area, Marion county the Yellville area, and Baxter county the Mountain Home area.
Council
The Council of the Church consists of Pastor Jan Neels, the Pastor of our mother church together with the consistory of elders and deacons who exercise oversight for the Church plant/Outreach. We have a leadership committee of four male members to carry out the local responsibilities here in Yellville.
Sacraments
We celebrate two sacraments, the sacrament of Holy Baptism, and the sacrament of the Holy Supper.
Baptism is administered to newborn children, or to those adults who have not yet been baptized, and who have made confession of their faith.

Institution and Membership
The Reformed Church of Yellville was began with two families meeting in there homes in 1998, eventually moving services to various rented buildings in the area to hold Sunday worship services. The group became an official outreach of the HRC in 1999 when 4 of the group became members of the Jordan congregation, our mother church who has assumed responsibility for the oversight of the outreach.
